Tell Me A Story

Sermon: Rev. Nina D. Grey
Worship Leader: Rev. Millie Rochester

In her first post-sabbatical sermon, Rev. Grey contemplates with us the significance of story-telling. She writes: "Within friendships, families, and communities, hearing and telling stories carries the power to reveal us to one another, and to create and transform community. This service invites us to begin weaving our sabbatical adventures into a common, shared journey."

World Religions, Music of Peace

Worship Leader: Rosemary Snow, long-time member of First Unitarian Church and delegate to the Parliament of World’s Religions at Barcelona in 2004

Five thousand participants in the Parliament of World’s Religions observed the rhythms and sounds, the colors and costumes of singers, chanters and dancers of different religions from many parts of the world . The service will show some moments of the concert on video and explore different ways of being spiritual we can learn from music, the universal language of peace.
