Faces of Freedom

Our faith, grounded in Christianity, draws also from its Jewish roots. We notice this especially in November when we hold our Thanksgiving Seder, modeled on the Passover Festival of Freedom. With Passover coming in four days, today we look at some of the faces of freedom in our times.

Our Easter Celebration: A Multigenerational Service

Bring a Flower!!

We join together in annual multigenerational celebration of the return of spring and the hope that Easter promises. The choir and congregation will sing joyful songs of renewal, we will Flower our Chalice, and reflect together on the seeds of potential these April holy days affirm.

After the service join us for the annual EASTER EGG HUNT sponsored by the RE Council.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go!

In these serious and uncertain times sometimes it can help to look for wisdom and guidance in the simple yet profound works of people like Dr. Seuss and Fred Rogers. Join me as I look to this source for a sense of balance and stability in these uncertain times --remembering these words from Dr. Seuss: "Step with care and great tact and remember that Life’s a Great Balancing Act. Just never forget to be dextrous and deft. And never mix up your right foot with your left."
