Our Faith's Promise: For Our Children, Ourselves, Our Community, Our Future
Worship Leader: Rev. Nina Grey
The 19th-century minister Olympia Brown urged her listeners to "Stand By This Faith." As the 21st century begins, the Unitarian Universalist Association encourages all congregations to join in Fulfilling the Promise of our faith. What might this mean for us to stand by and fulfill the promise of our faith?
This Canvass Sunday service precedes our Canvass Luncheon. The sanctuary will be arranged for our luncheon. As you pick up your order of service, simply ask for your table.

Worship Leader: Rev. Helen Lutton Cohen
Travel and technology are moving all people on earth toward an increasingly interdependent relationship. Perhaps in response, many ethnic and religious groups fiercely defend their particular identity, as a way to know "who they are." How do Unitarian Universalists, who believe that "all life is one" and who have a vision of a united human family, manage the issue of identity? How is identity important to us?

Worship Leader: Beth Marshall-Pritchard
There are times when history and present converge, when a voice from the past echoes our own dreams and desires. Antoinette Brown Blackwell was the first woman ordained a minister. Throughout her life and ministry, she struggled with issues that are still common today&emdash;social justice, sexism, religious intolerance, substance abuse, poverty, and societal expectations that run counter to our deepest dreams. This is an opportunity to "meet" a figure from our own Unitarian history.
