Reminder: There will be a freedom luncheon of delicious, nourishing abolitionist food in the Garden Room, beginning at 12 noon. Our guest speaker will be Ms. Charlotte Fortens, free black woman from Philadelphia, a former Freedman’s teacher in the Liberated Territories of the Sea Island Freedom Plantations and an eyewitness to the original Emancipation Proclamation Celebration. She will be speaking abouth the variety and history of these Emancipation Proclamation celebrations. She will be played by Joan Staples.


During the service, nursery care is available for babies and toddlers. Please see an usher for directions to the nursery.
