On January 17, we members of the Search Committee chose to invite 3 of the 9 applicants who sent us information packets to precandidate with us. This means each of them will meet with us and let us observe them preach in a neutral church.

We will meet with each precandidate on separate weekends during March and April. After we have had a chance to get a feel for each after hearing them preach, we will make a decision about which one to invite to be the candidate for our ministry. If that candidate agrees, the congregation will meet the candidate during a week-long visit, including at least two sermons.

We are very pleased with the quality of these three people and feel that any of the three would be excellent senior ministers at First Church.
