UUA-UUSC Concern over Kosovo The Unitarian Universalist Association joins the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee in expressing deep concern about the human suffering and worsening humanitarian crisis in Kosovo. It is incumbent upon the international community to address this crisis now, in order to avert further suffering for the Kosovar people and others in the region. While the UUSC is not involved programmatically in this region, UUSC has the international connections needed to identify effective colleague agencies that have humanitarian relief expertise in this part of the world. Therefore, the UUSC is accepting contributions to aid the Kosovo refugees and will ensure that your contributions reach agencies on the ground in the region which provide humanitarian relief, including food, medicines, and supplies. To contribute to this effort, you may make online donations via credit card on the UUSC's secure server at <http://www.uusc.org/actalert/kosovo.html>. Or mail a check to Kosovo Relief, UUSC, 130 Prospect St., Cambridge, MA 02139-1845. 1999 General Assembly. Join over 3,000 UUs in Salt Lake City, Utah at General Assembly from June 24 to 28.
