HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR!

SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 1999 GARDEN ROOM - 11:45 a.m.

It is time to plan our social schedule for the year - to share adventures, talents, gifts, and learn new things! It is time for our annual TALENT AUCTION.

On April 18, we will gather for a tasty gourmet lunch and bid on everything from computer lessons, a day of carpentry, a bird walk, a Scottish dinner or a "trip" to France, to soup, pecan pies, and quilting lessons. As we bid vigorously, we will be raising major funds for our church programs. What can you offer - what do you need that someone else may be able to do for you? What could you donate for a Silent Auction? Do you know of businesses in the community that might donate services or meals that could be a part of our auction? Consider what people should donate to the church to equal the value of your offering. How many bids will you accept? What can you afford to pay for a service or party? No donation is too big or too small. We encourage your creativity and generosity.

We need all donation information by Sunday, March 14, so that folks will have a chance to study the list in advance.
