Talent Auction: April 18

This is our major fundraiser, so mark your calendars for a Gourmet Lunch, followed by the Talent Auction, on April 18. What can you offer - what do you need that someone else may be able to do for you? What could you donate for a Silent Auction? Do you know of businesses in the community that might donate services or meals that could be a part of our auction? Please complete a donor form located in the church office or bring your silent auction items to church any Sunday and preview the Silent Auction items after church.

Our own Finley Campbell has enthusiastically agreed to conduct the auction. Looking forward to good food, wine, and a lively auction.

1999 General Assembly

Join over 3,000 UUs in Salt Lake City, Utah at General Assembly from June 24 to 28. It’s a fun—and distinctly UU—mix of tradition and innovation. On the traditional side we’ll have the yearly Ware Lecture (by author Mary Pipher), and the Service of Living Tradition honoring our ministry, Banner Parade at the Opening Plenary Session, GA Choir Concert, evening dances, and the Exhibit Hall. This year’s theme, Fulfilling the Promise to Help One Another, will provide inspiration for more than 300 events and focused programming throughout General Assembly. For more information talk to Bette Sikes (773) 624-5808.
