Announcing: A Bumper Sticker Slogan and Design Contest

The contest is sponsored by the U.U. Urban Coalition of Chicago (producers of the Harvest Fest last fall) The goal is to raise awareness of Unitarian Universalism on Chicago's streets. Rules include: 1. Deadline for submissions is March 1, 1999; 2. Four winners will be chosen; 3. Artwork should be copy-ready; 4. Bumper sticker design should be readable at a distance of a car-length; 5. No more than 2 colors, in addition to black and white, should be used. Celebrate the Chinese Year of the Rabbit

On Sunday, February 21, Chinatown will hold its annual Chinese dragon dance and parade (plus fireworks) shortly after noon. Some of us from the church are making arrangements for lunch at Won Kow, 2237 S. Wentworth, at 1:30 pm. If you would like to join us, sign up at the church office. Please indicate how many are in your group and if you will drive, how many people you can take. National Conference Coming in March

The Chicago Theological Seminary and Meadville/Lombard Theological School are hosting the 8th Annual Conference for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Allied Seminarians March 19-21. With the theme of Common Pain, Common Hope, the conference features the Rev. Jimmy Creech, who was tried by his church for performing a holy union ceremony for parishioners.
