Driving
From Lake Shore Drive:
There is no exit at 55th St. and no access to 57th St. You can exit at
53rd St. or at Cornell Drive (in front of the Museum of Science and
Industry).
If you exit at 53rd St.:
-Turn South at the first stop light (Hyde Park Blvd.).
-Go South to 55th St., turn West, and drive on 55th St. approximately one mile to Woodlawn.
-Turn South on Woodlawn to the church.
On Sundays, there is ample on-street parking.
-If you exit at Cornell Drive:
-Go South to the Midway, West to Woodlawn Ave., and North to the church.
-From the Dan Ryan Expressway:Exit at 55th-Garfield Blvd. Drive East to Woodlawn Ave., then two blocks South to the church.
Public Transportation
By CTA:
The 55th St. - Garfield Blvd. Bus stops at Woodlawn Ave. It is a two
block walk to the church. This bus runs frequently. You can transfer to
it from the #6 Jackson Park Express bus or the Green or Red line trains.
By Metra:
Most Metra-Electric trains stop at the 57th St. Station. Walk six blocks West to the church.
