First Unitarian Church is one of more than one thousand member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), whose web address is www.uua.org.  The annual meeting of the UUA – called GA (General Assembly) – takes place during June

The UUA is divided into twenty districts.  Our district, the Central Midwest District (CMWD), covers Illinois, northwest Indiana, upper Michigan, and most of Wisconsin and Missouri.  Its web address is www.cmwd-uua.org/ .  CMWD holds its district assembly during April.

Chicago area churches have formed the regional Chicago Area Unitarian-Universalist Council (CAUUC), which can be accessed at www.uuchicago.org .  CAUUC includes twenty-eight congregations in the greater Chicago area, including congregations from as far away at St. Joseph, Michigan, Rockford, Illinois, and Elkhart, Indiana.  CAUUC meets annually during November.
